75. Payment by city of insurance claims denied by city insurer
PURPOSE
To establish a policy which guides the city council and staff on payment of denied insurance claims.
BACKGROUND
From time to time, insurance claims which have been reviewed and denied by the city insurer are requested to be brought before the city council for further consideration.
POLICY
It will be the policy of the Hillsboro city council to accept the final determination of the city insurer on all claims
